Miss Underwood and I gave up, with considerable regret, our attempt to read Bayesian Artificial Intelligence, a 2004 book by Korb and Nicholson, it being beyond our combined intellectual strengths to parse the equations contained therein. (We'd been hoping to implement some sort of inference engine using Bayesian/belief networks.) However, MSBNx, a free download, caught our eye; a glance through its manual proved its language a trifle more penetrable.
